CBS Insurance, LLP was established in 1992 by a group of insurance professionals in Abilene, Texas who envisioned a better way to provide quality insurance services and products to their clients. In January 2008 CBS merged with First Southwest Insurance Agency of Abilene to become one of the largest multi-line insurance agencies in Central and West Texas. The additional premium volume has opened up new doors that have enabled us to better serve our clients. CBS is currently made up of over 40 licensed professional agents and service professionals - each with his or her unique area of expertise.

At CBS we have always taken a great deal of pride in the level of service that we are able to provide to our local West/Central Texas clients. However, rapid advances in communications technology in recent years have enabled us to expand our reach to other areas in Texas where we are finding many personal and business insurance consumers to be under-served, and taken for granted. In response to this condition in the marketplace, we made the commitment to develop a business model that would support effectively caring for accounts that are outside of our traditional marketing territory.
